About MobileStockPOS

We're building the POS mobile-phone shops actually want.

Generic POS systems treat a shop selling iPhones like it's a supermarket. MobileStockPOS treats it like a mobile-phone shop — because that's every shop we built it with.

The story

Asia-wide ambition, Sri Lankan pilot.

MobileStockPOS started as a direct answer to a question: “Why is every shop running IMEIs in Excel?” The short version is that the generic POS options cost too much and the cheap ones couldn't track per-unit serials properly.

The v1 pilot runs in Sri Lanka — fast internet, Sinhala + Tamil staff, a close-knit retail market you can iterate with weekly. From there, the same product expands across Asia without a rewrite: pricing already shows in 9 currencies, Stripe handles regional tax, and the app's language layer is ready for Hindi, Bangla, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Malay, and Chinese.

The marketing site you're reading is English-only, because one funnel is easier to tune than eight. The app itself stays tri-lingual from day one.

What we're optimising for

Three things we won't compromise on.

Built by someone who had to use it

I've watched too many shop owners keep IMEI stock in Excel + WhatsApp + a paper book. This is the tool I wish they had — built before I built anything else.

Priced for local shops

Most POS platforms price in USD for Western margins. MobileStockPOS displays in 9 currencies and respects what a single-branch shop in Dhaka, Colombo, or Ho Chi Minh can actually pay.

Shipping, not pitching

No launch dates on slides. Every week a phase merges and goes live. You can read the roadmap in GitHub commits, not in marketing decks.

The company behind the product

MobileStockPOS is a product of Hostnicker Web Solution LTD — a UK-registered company. All subscriptions, invoices, DPAs, and legal notices are issued by Hostnicker. Stripe handles UK VAT and applicable Asian regional taxes.

Where this goes

Roadmap, out in the open.

  1. Now

Core POS + inventory + team + reports

Everything a single-branch shop needs to replace its spreadsheet, shipping through Phase 5 (reports) and Phase 6 (billing).

  2. Next

    Platform Admin + pilot launch

Platform Admin console (Phase 7), then 2–3 pilot shops over a 6-8 week window (Phase 8). Public launch after pilots convert.

  3. v1.1

Native apps + WhatsApp / SMS receipts

React Native (Expo) iOS + Android sharing the same TypeScript core. Automated receipt delivery over WhatsApp Business API.

  4. v1.2+

    Offline-first, loyalty, accounting export

IndexedDB queueing so POS survives ISP outages. Store credit, loyalty, QuickBooks / Xero exports. Hardware drawer + label-printer integrations.
